During 2014, Transport for London is marking a number of significant milestones for the bus industry through a series of events, activities and exhibitions which will re-connect Londoners with their bus network and celebrate the role that London buses, bus drivers and the staff who support them play in keeping the capital moving 24 hours a day throughout the year.

As part of the Year of the Bus celebrations, Transport for London has been working in partnership with creative producers Wild in Art, to create a series of free and accessible public art sculpture trails across London’s streets, parks and public spaces from 20 October until early December 2014.

The bus sculptures have been painted and adorned by well-known, professional and aspiring artists to showcase the vital role that London’s buses play in the life and economy of the city and the UK as a whole.

Following the display, the artworks will be auctioned to raise invaluable funds for three charities; Kids Company, Transaid and London Transport Museum.
